The LEDs have a 180º lens that allows an excellent spread of light designed to illuminate even the darkest corners. Energy consumption is barely 20% of a halogen lamp and yet the 35 Lux at 1m light output is equivalent to a 10W halogen lamp.
The luminaire has a multitude of applications inside the home where it is used as under-cabinet lighting in the kitchen, inside wardrobes, kitchen cupboards or, understairs cupboards. It can be installed in any attitude without detriment. It is used for display lighting in furniture, for alcove lighting and under-shelves in book cases etc.
Outside, in the garden it makes an ideal light under a pergola, gazebo or canopy when it can be used within a solar lighting system or simply from a 12V battery. It can be mounted under pathway handrails to provide lighting for dark nights. Again, as part of a solar lighting system away from the mains supply. |
